Designing and sewing clothing since she was a child, Clare went on to complete a diploma in Fashion Design in 2006. She has since worked in many areas of the Fashion Industry. From sewing on the factory floor, to managing wholesale relationships for several fashion brands and sales on the retail floor.  Over 11  years ago, Clare fell in love with Burlesque and spent all of her spare time performing and making costume dreams come to life for herself and others. What felt like a casual hobby at the time evolved into a profession that she's very passionate about today. Collaborating  with fellow  dancers and performers on their artistic vision is extremely rewarding for Clare. She takes pride in her ability to exceed the expectations of her clients when she delivers well-made, thought-out costumes that elevate their professionalism and performances. 

 

Most recently, Clare started Sew Seductive, where she helps people with a desire to sew their own costumes, lingerie and other small bits of clothing by teaching them the necessary skills to be self-sufficient, through online sewing lessons.
