With Clare Voyeur’s lifelong love for art, costume design, dance and comedy, it’s no surprise that she’s found burlesque to be the ultimate art form combining all those elements.

She made her burlesque debut through the Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society's Becoming Burlesque program in 2011 and has been training and performing consistently ever since. Clare was a committed member of this world-renowned, award-winning troupe until 2020. She performed in their monthly show, The Taboo Revue,  as a soloist and in group acts. She also performed with them at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, USA in 2016 and 2017 where they took home the trophies for "Best Large Group" and "Most Comedic".

Clare's artistic style is chameleon-like. Over the years, she's developed a vast collection of acts ranging from pop-culture drag to abstract storytelling; from  weird and wacky to sultry and saucy; from comedic to sexy and everything in between. Her main ambition is to entertain. All of her acts are made with the intention to make the audience laugh or feel something. For this reason, she's performed in many local and notable shows as well as a handful of festivals in Canada and the USA.

She's been producing her own shows sine 2018, packing venues and building a reputation for bringing wildly entertaining shows to life.
