ABOUT THE PROJECT

The client wanted to pay tribute to a famous burlesque legend and presented me with an original photo. 

​

The original costume resembled an ostrich but was simply a large circle skirt flipped over the dancer’s head. The client wanted to go with a quirky looking bird  so I chose the blue colours and made over a hundred spirals of organza.
