COSTUME DESIGN + INSTRUCTION
After a decade spent working in the fast fashion industry, Clare switched focus to her true passion of designing costumes.
Clare's primary customers are dancers and performers in Vancouver and across Canada. She builds glamorous and unique costumes and props that elevate her client's performances.
Clare offers private and online instruction for design, sewing and fashion business consulting. She will teach you the skills to execute your ideas to their potential.

BURLESQUE PERFORMANCE
Clare has performed Burlesque for over 10 years as a soloist, in duets and in groups. She's participated in many notable shows in Vancouver and at a number of festivals in Canada and the USA.

Clare is chameleon of sorts, with acts ranging from hilarious to glamorous, and everything in between. Her performances often emphasize parody and are labeled surreal. She prides herself on being an entertainer and continually
surprising audiences.

SHOW PRODUCTION
Clare has both collaborated and worked solo on some exciting burlesque and variety show productions. Currently she produces regular instalments of WILD NIGHT burlesque show and WHAT'S THE CRAIC - A Night of Irish Devilry. She's the woman behind the 3 time sold out show, Seinfeld Burlesque.
Managing people, initiating movement and problem solving are some of the skills Clare has mastered, giving every project she is involved in a solid foundation and powerful momentum.
Clare maintains strong relationships with many entertaining performers, and can curate true Burlesque and Variety talent for any of your events.

Clare Voyeur is an artist and designer to the core of her being. She's a ball of creative energy that sparks more and more as her ideas develop. Whatever project Clare's working on, she finds the most satisfaction in the problem solving and execution of it. Seeing her client's idea or her own vision brought to life is icing on the cake. Clare loves to be challenged creatively and to overcome even the strangest obstacles. She's the designer and artist who has an optimistic outlook, little fear and will execute projects with great results.

Clare believes there should be more celebration and more comedy in the world. She believes we need to balance life's dark moments, actively seeking a life full of laughter and enjoyment. Connecting with an audience through humour or making them feel something is a top priority and key motivation in her burlesque performances and show productions.
